President Biden Announces Withdrawal from the 2024 Presidential Race

President Biden announced today that he is withdrawing from the 2024 Presidential Race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to replace him as the Democratic Presidential Candidate. After a lackluster performance at the recent Presidential debate, concerns about his age, presently 81 year old, and now stricken with Covid, several Senate and Congressional Democrats asked for President Biden to step down fearing that he could not beat Donald Trump. While the Democratic party regroups to put forth their best winning strategy, all eyes are on Vice President Kamala Harris who will be the first woman and second person of color to become the leader of the free world. Unfortunately racial divides, fear about the browning of America, fear about people having the right to be different, and fear of losing power has fractured American Democracy, the once respected and most revered political system in the world. The 2024 Presidential election in America has become a race between Autocracy vs. Democracy instead of Republican vs. Democrat.
